My mom came to visit for one week. Only one week. I hope she stays longer next time! She flew in, and we got wonderful mani/pedi's. The girls working on us were so excited to talk to Eskimos. :) One especially wanted to Eskimo Kiss her boyfriend in front of Eskimos. Then on Friday we drove to San Marcos for some outlet shopping. The next day we had lunch at The Gristmill in Gruene. Lovely restaurant in an old cotton mill on the hillside overlooking the Guadlupe River. Best pickles I ever ate were there! What a relaxing lunch.
We spent the rest of the weekend in San Antonio seeing the Riverwalk, Alamo, and San Jose Mission. San Jose Mission was our favorite by far. The Riverwalk was fun, too. It was a great trip. Plus on the drive we got to see some lovely Texas wildflowers. Of course we only took out the camera during our trip to San Jose Mission
