31.5 weeks

Today I'm 32.5 weeks along, but I wanted to share my belly pic at 31.5 weeks. I tried to wear the same outfit as my last belly pic at 27.5 weeks so it's easier to compare. I agree with Dolly - the weeks of the last trimester go by quick!

As my pregnancy progresses, my hunger for sweets has only gotten stronger. I find myself asking James, "Did you get me cupcakes?" anytime he goes to the store. "Do we have chocolate?" "Can you get me some Payday candy bars?" "Can you make me cookies?" "Ice cream time?" I know I shouldn't be so focused on sugar, but it's what makes me really happy lately. I'm trying gum after lunch or when I have cravings for sweets, so I don't overload the baby and I with sugar. Anyway, I couldn't stop thinking about chocolate chip cookies for a couple days, but was too lazy to make them. So I looked in our pantry to see what I could put together that might resemble cookies. Here's what I came up with.Graham cracker, crunchy peanut butter, honey, and chocolate chips. SO GOOD! Easy no bake treat.

Saw our Baby Girl Again

Yesterday I had another doctor's appointment and got to see our baby girl again! She was pretty active, just as she was during my last ultrasound. Last time she wanted to keep her arms up by her face, and she did it again yesterday! But this time she was sucking on her wrist when she had it in front of her. When she moved her arm away from her face, she was still making sucking motions with her mouth. So cute! Her little face was getting more chubby chunks, too...I love being able to see her when I can! Today I'm 31 weeks and she weighs almost 4 pounds and is nearly 16 inches long. 9 more weeks to go!

Home Projects

Since we bought the new house, we've been dreaming of how to furnish and decorate it. We've been wanting new dining chairs, but for now decided to come up with a cheap alternative for what we like. I bought some fabrics to recover some Ikea cushions for our inexpensive Ikea chairs. Our inspiration was this!
These are the fabrics I bought to patch together for cushion covers.

I also really wanted some curtains from Anthropologie, but thought maybe I can find some similar-looking fabric for cheaper and make some myself! I ordered this fabric as a substitute for the curtains below. I think making my own curtains will save me 50%!
Much later when these projects are finished, I'll post some pics.
