In March, my mom brought down meat from caribou that Merle caught. James used my mom's recipe for caribou stir-fry from the Headstart Cookbook. Tastesss good! We love eating food from home. It's a nice treat to ourselves. I have a stash of frozen agutak that I eat only on special occassions. I also have seal oil and dried fish and carrots on days when I need to smell and taste home.
