30 Years and 31 Days

James was so excited to give himself a nice 30th birthday present - his dream drum set and he just had to take pictures of the boxes! We'll post pics soon of his complete set after all his cymbals are purchased.

Happiness is...

...two cars parked in a garage! We finally have one! I think we've been dreaming of this garage for years now. We made use of it recently by changing the passenger side headlight on my (Meryl's) car. Mattox was tops in advising the procedure. Oh and here's the first published pic of James' new ride, a Hyundai Accent. That's right...I drive the big car in this family. :) I joke.

Fresh Herbs

James planted some herbs in our tiny backyard. Some thyme, basil, and parsley.

Meatballs for 11

James made meatballs for almost all of our friends in Houston Town. We had an extra long table! Here are James, Mark, Dao, Courtney, Timmy, Tye, Jen, Chad, Dana, and Adam. Just this minute I came up with a new song..."Dontcha wish your husband made balls like mine...DONTCHA!"

Drill Baby Drill!

I finally got my DeWalt Drill...we actually ended up returning this one for the smaller one. That doesn't happen often, right???
